Dr. Fam is considered a national expert on site remediation issues. He is a co-author of "In-Situ Treatment Technology" (Lewis Publishers, 1996), which is intended as an undergraduate text for state of the art remedial technologies.
Dr. Fam serves as a technical advisor, and project manager on assignments primarily related to site remediation and facility engineering. Dr. Fam offers a diversified background in the environmental field including expertise in hazardous waste site remediation, analytical chemistry, site investigation, industrial waste treatment and energy efficiency. His experience and expertise has focused on the evaluation, design, development, and implementation of conventional and innovative in situ and on-site technologies for remediation of contaminated sites. Dr. Fam is considered a leader within the environmental consulting industry in enhanced bioremediation, and natural attenuation.
Dr. Fam has been involved in some the first and largest full-scale enhanced anaerobic (reductive) dechlorination system designs and installations in the world. He is also experienced in conducting laboratory and pilot-scale feasibility studies to evaluate the applicability of conventional and emerging technologies. His expertise spans the best management strategies for controlling industrial runoff as well as urban stormwater runoff as well as work on industrial energy efficiency. His strong analytical chemistry and biochemistry background in GC, GC/MS, extraction, and separation techniques provides him with unique capabilities to interpret and analyze chemical data for engineering applications. |

Mr. Lotti serves as a project manager for contaminated site and energy projects. Mr. Lotti has comprehensive experience in the technical, financial, and administrative management of site investigations, feasibility evaluations, remedial design and construction at contaminated sites. Mr. Lotti is also assisting our clients with the construction of utility-scale photovoltaic energy generation facilities and energy projects.
Mr. Lotti has managed projects that range in value and scope from $10,000 engineering designs to $30,000,000 construction projects. Mr. Lotti works closely with his clients, teamed consultants, contractors, attorneys, the public, and regulators to ensure the timely and effective completion of the projects while maintaining his client's reputation, safety record, and budgetary goals.
Prior to joining IESI in 2007, Mr. Lotti was a Principal Environmental Engineer with an Investor Owned Utility and served as the project manager for numerous former manufactured gas plants (MGP), former power plants, electrical substations and other miscellaneous contaminated sites in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and New York. As the company representative and project manager, Mr. Lotti was responsible for implementing and managing the assessment, containment, and/or removal of the oil and hazardous material present at the various sites in order to protect human health and the environment. In addition, Mr. Lotti was responsible for evaluating and implementing new technical and regulatory developments in the ever-changing environmental field, and updating senior management on the status of budgets, projects, and negotiations.

Mr. Falatko has more than 15 years of experience in environmental engineering focusing on the design, construction, and operation of soil and groundwater remediation systems and industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. His experience ranges from initial project evaluations to final detailed process and mechanical designs, and the subsequent construction, start-up and operation of the systems. Mr. Falatko specializes in integrating site-specific conditions with innovative remedial designs. He has designed in-situ and ex-situ soil and groundwater treatment systems using physical, chemical and biological processes for the remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents and heavy metals. He has completed remedial actions at a variety of industrial facilities under state and federal directives, such as RCRA and CERCLA. His remedial designs have involved a wide variety of technologies, including groundwater extraction and treatment, separate phase product recovery, vacuum enhanced recovery, ex-situ biological soil treatment, fixed-film bioreactors, biosparpging and bioventing, treatment of airborne chemical weapons agents, air sparging, soil vapor extraction, natural attenuation processes, in-situ metals precipitation, and in-situ reductive dehalogenation. Mr. Falatko has also designed industrial water and wastewater treatment systems upgrades for the automotive, semiconductor, textile and metal plating industries. These systems have involved water treatment, fixed-film wastewater treatment, enhanced metals removal systems, and sludge handling and disposal methods. He has designed large capacity groundwater production wells, industrial piping systems, and double containment piping with leak detection systems for industrial wastewater. He has performed assessments for well field capacities and designed water treatment system upgrades for industrial facilities. He has conducted environmental audits for generating facilities and performed economic analysis associated with the property transfer of these facilities. He has designed the instrumentation and control systems associated with these designs, and has utilized wireless telemetry systems for remote operation with digital and graphical user interface controls.

Professional Summary Mr. McGillicuddy received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 and a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering in 2005 from the University of New Hampshire. After an eight year stretch as a research project engineer with the University of New Hampshire he moved on in the fall of 2008 to join the IESI team as a senior project engineer. As a senior project engineer, Mr. McGillicuddy works in both the energy service and environmental sectors of IESI.
Mr. McGillicuddy has worked on various stand-alone, stored energy, and utility grid-tie photovoltaic (PV) generation systems from 1.4kW to 6MW. His work has covered all aspects PV systems from site layout, design, component specification, permitting, construction, commissioning to operation and maintenance of systems. He has also completed engineering analysis and on-site evaluations of mechanical equipment at client facilities in support of IESI’s energy auditing offerings.
In the environmental sector, Mr. McGillicuddy’s focus is on the evaluation, design, construction, and operation of a variety of remediation systems. His work involves the design of mechanical, electrical and chemical processes in conjunction with civil works to achieve site specific remediation goals. Mr. McGillicuddy’s mechanical aptitude allows him to interact with contractors and internal personnel, on-site and remotely to provide construction support and guidance. Mr. McGillicuddy also has experience in system start-ups and optimization as well as system operator oversight. In addition to new design build projects, Mr. McGillicuddy has the engineering skills and hands on experience necessary to evaluate existing treatment systems, make process optimization recommendations, and implement system changes.
He also draws on a diverse skill set of instrumentation design, hardware design and fabrication, project management, and ocean going field deployments to accomplish his projects objectives in an efficient manner. |

Serving as a project engineer, Mr. Vorlicek focuses on the assessment, design, construction and maintenance of photovoltaic energy generation facilities.
